Osteria del Portico has been a cherished presence in West London for over 30 years, known for its authentic cuisine and loyal clientele. Our research focused on understanding how to honour its legacy without overwhelming it. By speaking with the owners and observing the atmosphere, it became clear that any visual identity had to feel organic something that would blend into the experience rather than redefine it.
The final logo reflects the architectural inspiration behind the name an abstract portico symbolized through soft, arched stone shapes. Paired with a refined, slightly classical serif typeface, the visual identity is subtle yet intentional. The earthy green tone adds warmth and familiarity, echoing the restaurant’s rustic roots. The result is a timeless mark that feels like it has always belonged, bringing quiet structure to a brand that speaks loudest through tradition.
